Networking
We do all types of networking of computers running under Windows operating system, and we supply by equipment required for the network.
To easily connect two computers one need:
- That each computer has a network card
- Proper network installation (CROSSOVER UTP CABLE)
- Appropriate software correctly configured
For the functioning of the network with more than two computers one need:
- Each computer needs to have a network card
- Switcho or HUB
- Proper network installation (STRAIGHT-THRU UTP CABLE)
- Appropriate software correctly configured
Advantages
Advantages of computer networks are many. With a small investment in computer network, you can get the most out of computers and accessories you already own or plan to purchase.
Sharing resources in the network (Internet, printers, scanners, plotters, ...), has become an everyday necessity for successful companies. This means that from each of the computers in the network you can print out your sample form on a printer that is connected to the network through one of the computer (or directly to the switch if it has a network port), and is located in another room, on another desk, or even in another the end of the company. This means that for ten computers you will not need ten printers, but will all be able to use one. You do not need to get internet connection for each computer separately, it is enough one that will be shareed with others. Thus any user will have access to the Internet, and can read and send emails, use information from the Internet (direct Internet access is just an option, the system can be set up such way, users do not have direct access to the Internet)
There are many kinds and types of networks, but the most often are small networks for office use (up to 20 computers in the network) and a direct link of two computers using a crossover cable which is specially made for this application.
Cabling installation
Depending of the number of computers, their mutual distance and does network installation needs to be permanent or not, depends the approach of designing networks. We distinguish a number of types of networks that are connected in various ways. All combinations are possible, and depending on the needs of design and implement appropriate network model. When the model is accepted, it is important that the system user decides to model of wiring installation:
Installation of a temporary-permanent type
Installation of a temporary-permanent type is composed exclusively of "fly" UTP cables and the installation is done exclusively with them. Unlike the installation of a network of permanent type, these cables are less resistant to mechanical damage.
Installation of permanent type
Installation of permanent type is based on a combination of two types of cables. One type of cable is called "wall" UTP cable, which depending on your needs may be in the SFTP or FTP options (more protected types). They are made exclusively between a flush mount / wall UTP box. Mentioned "fly" UTP cable in this type of network is used only as a set of socket connections to computers. Outlet can have one, two or three places on it. This type of network is much tougher and more durable, lightweight replacement for "fly" cables leading from the box to the computer. The second part of the installation between the box remained intact and completely safe from mechanical damage.
In both types of installations for the network can be found a way to run cables through a specially installed ducts. They are mounted on the wall. They look nice, there are different sizes, colors and shapes and have a protective function for cables that pass through them.
Connecting computer to the network
After designing the network, supplying the necessary networking equipment and manufacturing quality UTP network cables, coming phase of the physical connection of computers in a physical pre-configured network. Alternative setting up network connections available and all are represented, the wireless transceiver variant of network equipment as well as over electrical wiring in your house. Wireless option is extremely useful in areas where, for technical or other reason can not be executed classic, wire mesh. Practical in the sense that in the case of moving the computer there is no need for new network installation or network is not linked to an object, it is flexible, if necessary, can be moved. According to technical specifications is somewhat slower than the wired version, but fully meets all the classic requirements.
After connecting the PCs comes the software setup of the whole system in a harmonious and functional way. It is very important right choice of opreativnog system, but also the possible combinations. The best is that all computers are running the same operating system, for easier and safer setting up a network to function. Some operating systems have limits on the number of computers and their role in network.
